Clyde Whittle -- Senior Editor & "Voice" of SLA

INFORMATION:
Clyde Whittle is a 1972 graduate of West Texas State University, currently known as West Texas A&M University. His career in television and radio broadcasting spans over 40 years. He has served as a news radio director, sports announcer, and public affairs director, in addition to many years experience on- and off-screen. In December 1982, Whittle began working for Buddy Jeffers and his company, Amarillo Livestock Video, as an independent contractor. He remained with the company as it merged with Odle Auctions, out of Brush, CO, to form Superior Livestock Auction, in 1986. Whittle joined SLA full-time in 1989 and continues to serve as Senior Editor and is the Voice of Superior. He is a Certified Lay Speaker in the United Methodist Church, and enjoys hunting, reloading ammunition, fishing, and reading.
