INFORMATION:
Danny Jones joined the Superior family in 2013 from the National Livestock Credit Corporation, as a result of National's purchase of Superior Livestock Auction and Superior Productions in May.
Danny grew up in rural, southwestern Oklahoma on a farm, purchased by his great-grandfather in the late 1920s. At a young age, Jones took interest and became involved in his father's cattle business, and began a small operation of his own while in high school.Danny attended Oklahoma State University from 1983 to 1987, where he earned degrees in Agricultural Economics and Accounting.
After graduation, he earned a position with Farm Credit Service, where he remained for nine years. Danny served as vice president of Agricultural Lending in a commercial bank for three years, and joined National Livestock in 1999 as vice president. He has been actively involved in the beef industry for over 30 years, and considers it a great privilege to work with cattlemen and to work for a company dedicated to their success in the cattle business.
Danny and his wife, Lisa, live in Fletcher, Oklahoma where they enjoy a cow/calf and stocker grazing operation. They have two married daughters and two grandchildren.
